lining, FTM TAPED SEAMS seams and Neolight Duotone 550+ limestone neoprene keeps
you warm and comfortable during long sessions, without being limited in movability and
performance on the water. Thermal Rebound, the warmest suit ever… period.
Compared to the Mercury Free zip this suit has an asymmetrical zip that opens up at one shoulder which makes it a little bit harder to get in, but it also reduces the amount of water from getting in the suit.
The seams are taped so they are watertight and protected.

Thermal Rebound

The 4 layer construction Thermal Rebound lining. This technology goes back to the mid 1970’s where NASA developed the thermal blankets for their missions into space as insulation.

Thermal Rebound™ lining is directly derived from survival blankets for the protection against cold conditions.
Extra protected layer between the neoprene and zodiac to reflect your body heat and to block wind chill.

Neolight heather 550+

The heather fabric ads the luxury look on our Mercury and OxyGen wetsuits. Besides looks the extra yarns offer a softer, more stretch and a smooth feel to the outer lining. The two tone colorscheme also indicates the areas in which the unique TR lining is used. Now in combination with our velvet feel Airflex2 inner lining and Thermal Rebound triple layering. Nasa technology incorporated.

Alloy Thermal Rebound retains and regulates body heat. A quick dry thermal fleece offers comfort enhanced by the Zodiac2plush thermal grid for optimal warmth.

FTM Taped seams

FTM TAPED SEAMS, our Fluid Taping Method seam construction. Triple glued seams with the
outside of the seam sealed of by a wider black carbon neoprene seal. The inside of the seam
is protected by our glued and blind stitched technology. FTM TAPED SEAMS are durable,
watertight and keep their high stretch.

Water based glue

The laminated neoprene sheets are cut into panels and put together to create a neoprene product such as a wetsuit. The lamination of all our wetsuits is done with water based glue, so called aqua-α. Unlike the traditional glue, the water based glue is solvent free and without chemicals (it removes 99% of the impurities). This avoids latex allergies. Don’t worry! Of course the glue will not dissolve in water. We made sure that the glue is as strong as the traditional glue.
