THE 2 IN 1 WITH NO COMPROMISE
On the Water: Yes, it’s got cams, but you won’t feel them in the jibes—thanks to the XXL cam below the boom, which takes full responsibility for smooth rotation like only a no-cam sail can deliver. The wide mast sleeve acts like a pure race sail, holding the board steady, but when you water start, you won’t even realize it—it’s just below the boom, leaving the upper part of the sail light and easy to water start, just like a wave sail. Once you close the gap, the pressure and drive the AC-2 delivers will remind you there’s cams and a wide sleeve—and your GPS will show you speeds you’ve never seen before.
On the Straight Line: When you’re cruising, the wider lower pocket and two cams unleash the same drive as a pure race sail. No lulls here—the windier it gets, the faster it accelerates. You won’t even notice the no-cam part over the boom, and for those who’ve never had cams before, get ready to discover a whole new world of acceleration, speed, and stability… you’ll forget you’re riding with two cams!
In the Jibe: Carving has never been this smooth. With power at the bottom and front, it pins the board down, letting you rail with precision. When it’s time to rotate, you won’t feel the cams move to the new tack. The XXL Point-7 cam gives fast leverage to the battens, allowing a smooth, perfect timing change. No punishment for rider mistakes—just smooth sailing. After the jibe, you’ll check the beach to make sure that XXL cam is even in there!
When Falling: Don’t sweat it. There’s no wide mast sleeve from the boom up to the top. It’s as easy to uphaul or water start as a wave sail. No water will fill up the lower wide sleeve, and even if it does, it won’t add unwanted leverage—the sail stays light and easy to manage.
The AC-2 features a deep profile in the lower part of the sail, extending up to just below the boom, then shallowing down over the boom but maintaining consistency all the way to the top. From the base to the boom, it boasts a wide sleeve like a race sail, shrinking to a no-cam sleeve above—a perfect hybrid of power and simplicity. 2 cams are placed under the boom with the same set-up as our other cam sails, giving you that slalom edge.
The slalom base, outline, and leech opening all carry the iconic Point-7 trademarks. Thanks to the wide lower mast sleeve, inserting the mast is as effortless as a cam sail, letting the mast slide straight into place without any hassle. Set the downhaul, pop in the 2 cams in no time, finish down hauling the sail, and you’re ready to place the boom and blast across the water. Simple. Fast. Powerful.
The AC-2 is straightforward to rig—easy as a cam sail. The wider sleeve at the bottom lets the mast slide straight in all the way to the top. Apply downhaul for about 10-15cm from the required setting. Without the boom, open the cam zippers, then with one hand, push the batten behind the cam, and with the other, push in the cam to pop it onto the mast. It’s a no-time action. Finish by pulling the downhaul, guided by the visual aid in the top panel. From 6.8 up, you can only rig with SDM mast, and from 5.8 down, it’s only RDM mast.
Playing with the outhaul will either boost up power or increase control. Tighten the lower 2 battens and the top batten, but just remove wrinkles on the other battens—don’t overtighten them. Simple, fast, powerful.

Technology
Introducing a total 100% ANTI UV-RAY monofilm windsurfing sail
All our Ply, X-ply and Scrim monofilm are produced in the Unites States including the new 7548 Yellow. The less the transparent the monofilm, the more they will last in the sun. Just like our Black, our new Yellow monofilm, is also not transparent, and darker the colour the longer it will shield the material from the UV rays.
What damages the monofilm is not the heat, but the UV-Rays. These go through the monofilm, cooking the material, with the result that it will become stiffer and brittle. Our monofilm is built in layers with inside the coloured anti UV glue, which blocks completely the UV rays, compared to transparent monofilm.
